He was a native of Bradford County Florida and had lived in Glennville for the past 10 years. He was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hope Ann Lashmit Parrish, Glennville; one daughter, Mrs. Kay Cranford(Dean), Glennville; one son, Larry Parrish(Debbie),Glennville ,his mother, Mrs. Murry Osteen, Glennville; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Griffin, Miami,Fla.; five grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Parrish were held Tuesday at 10:30a.m. in the Rimes Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jimmy Bargeron and Rev. Moody Roberts. The body was taken to to Starke,Fla., where burial was in the Antioch Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Claude Dixon, James Maud, Jimmy Bargeron, Loy Blocker, Joe Duffany, and Robert Dubberly.
Rimes Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Born to Edgar and Murray Starling Parrish in Sampson City. Florida. Lived in Jacksonville and Miami before moving to Glennville, Tattnall County, Ga. in 1967.
Married Hope Ann Lashmit 14 March 1949 in Folkston, Ga.

At the time of Dad's passing in 1975, we had not been able to locate a 2nd son. But, in 1996, Lloyd Buford Parrish Howell, found us. His name changed, was the problem. All the lost time with his Dad....he looks just like him!
