T.C. Huckabay was long time banker of Bank of the Wichitas in Snyder. He started as a janitor of a bank eventually earning the chance to post the books in a bank because he had attended a tech school in Tyler, TX, that taught him the trait. T.C. was partners for a while in bank ownership and eventually ended up with full ownership of the Snyder and Sentinel, OK banks. He also had interests in other Oklahoma banks including Mustang, Cache and Burns Flat. T.C. lead almost his entire family into the banking business and went to work everyday until just a few weeks before passing. He is buried next to his wife, Areta (Wilburn) and fathered 2 children, Virginia and Gary.
