Henry E. Giles

   BICKNELL — Henry Ellett Giles, age 75, of Bicknell, died March 15, 1988, in a Salt Lake City

hospital.

   Born December 15, 1912, in Giles, Utah, a son of John and Addie Ellett Giles. He married Jessie Heaps, April 6, 1946, in Bicknell. Marriage solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, June 21, 1956. Veteran of World War II. He owned and operated the Texaco Service Station in Bicknell since 1948, where he served the public well. He was an active member of the L.D.S. Church, Scout Leader, served as Sunday School President and Elder's Quorum President in the Thurber Ward.

   Survivors: wife, Bicknell; children, Gloria and Lee Lemmon, Huntington; Karen and Sheldon Ellett, Kearny, Arizona; Robert and Susan Giles, St. George; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. LaMar (Clara) Worthen, Panguitch; Mrs. Wallace (Mada) Alvey, Lyman; Mrs. Ray (Melva) Lindsay, Provo.

   Funeral services Monday, March 21, 1988 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bicknell L.D.S. Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing Sunday evening at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield from 5-7 p.m. and Monday at the Church in Bicknell from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial with military honors by the American Legion Harold Brown Post No. 92 will be in the Bicknell Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield.
