DR. D.C. GREEAR DIES TUESDAY
David C. Greear was born on June 20, 1906 in Honaker, Virginia. He passed away Dec. 27, 1958 at the age of 52 years, 6 months and 7 days.
On Feb. 4, 1931, D.C. Greear and Enid Shearer were united in marriage. To this union one son, Ronald, was born.
Dr. Greear joined the Methodist church at an early age. He attended Ashbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky, Emory Henry College of Virginia, and the Kirksville College of Osteopathy & Surgery.
The doctor moved to Bucklin, Missouri, and opened his professional practice July 1, 1932. He continued in meeting the needs in sickness of Bucklin and it's rural areas until Jan. 1, 1948 when he became associated in partnership with Dr. C. Enoch in Brookfield. This partnership continued until his death.
In addition to his Methodist membership, he was a member of the National American Osteopathic and the Missouri Osteopathic Physician & Surgeon Association.
Dr. Greear is survived by his wife and son of the home in Bucklin; his mother, Mrs. Florence Greear, and one brother, W.B. Greear, Jr., both of Cliffield, Virginia. His father, W.B. Greear preceded him in death.
