A Dead Frenchman. Coroner Porter held an inquest over the body of the dead man found in the woods near Hummelstown yesterday morning by Jonas Allwine while out gunning. No semi balance features of the dead man remained, and description was impossible. He was poorly dressed and beside him was a valise containing several articles of clothing and some papers. A verdict of death from causes unknown to the jury was rendered. From the papers it was ascertained . that his name Was Francois Arnaud, a native of France, born in 1832. His passport is dated ?n 18.12 about the time he came to this country, and there were found his naturalization 'papers dated at Davenport, Iowa, May 6th, 1869. The remains were buried at the almshouse.
