He was a member of Local 249 Retirees. He was an avid woodworker and gardener. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma J. Alderman in 1994, his parents George & Sylvia Alderman, and a sister, Lucille Clark. He is survived by his wife, Marcella J. Alderman of the home, three daughters, Marcella Swan of Bonner Springs, KS., Peggy Johnson of Avondale, AZ., and Pamala Huffman of Linwood, KS. Step-Daughters, Janice Shirey of McLouth, KS., and Marsha Brunssen of Lee's Summit, MO., four brothers, Walter Alderman of St. Paul, NE., Duaine Alderman of Lawson, MO., Darreld Alderman of Independence, MO., and Byford Alderman of Kansas City, KS., one sister, Shrie Hinricksen of Pawnee City, NE., eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
