Clarence Nevin Haines of Westminster passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at 7:30am. Born March 28, 1931 in Woodbine MD. he was the son of the late Arthur and Evelyn Haines.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Margaret Haines (Tootie) and his daughter Gail Susan Haines Wilhelm of Westminster. He also is survived by grandson Heathe L Wilhelm and his wife Sharon; Great grandson Hunter L Wilhelm and Great granddaughter Abigail N Wilhelm of Union Bridge; and brothers Larry Haines of Westminster, Don Haines of Woodbine and Robert Haines of Westminster.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by 2 sisters Winifred Harrison and Virginia Biddinger of Woodbine.

Nevin was a Master Plumber, Master Electrician and Master HVAC Director for the State of Maryland. He had his own plumbing business in Keymar from 1952-1964. He started working for S.H. Tevis Co in 1964 as a service tech and was later promoted to Vice President of the company and Chairman of the Board which is now Tevis Energy. He is also the founder of Modern Comfort Systems. He was a devoted employee for 58 years.

Nevin was a 32nd degree Master Mason, Member of the Shriners Of Boumi Temple for 45 years and King Bee of the Bee Hive Club. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge #2277 of Westminster for 40 years.
He enjoyed playing golf and spending winters at his home in Florida with family and friends. He was very passionate about "The Orioles" and "loved" his dog "Mollie".

A viewing will be held at Pritts Funeral Home, 412 Washington Rd, Westminster, Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8 pm with a Masonic Service to be held at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will be private at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Winfield.
