Dolores "De" Joyce Hylton, 90, of Joplin, MO formerly of Wichita, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at her home.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home and a Celebration of life will be held graveside at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City.

De was born October 26, 1931 to Joy Sterling Morton and Mary (Jacek) in Arkansas City. She graduated from Arkansas City in 1949 and later received her bachelor's degree from Wichita State University. De married Frank W. Hylton on March 12, 1951 in Bentonville, AR and the couple made their home in Wichita. She was an administrative assistant for the City of Wichita, board of parks commission. De was a mother, sister and dear friend to many.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Hylton Davies; son, Barry W. Hylton and wife, Lisa Schroeder; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
De was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Velma Barondeau, Violet Hatfield and Viola Miller.
