Martha Alice "McRorie" Couick, 77, of Monroe, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 18, 2022, at her home, comforted by her husband and son.

Martha Couick was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 29, 1945, to
Louis Andrew McRorie
Martha "Mat" Elizabeth Stilwell McRorie

She was raised in Stallings, North Carolina, and spent 73 years at her family's residence on Matthews- Indian Trail Rd. She loved to spend a lot of her time accompanying her husband to auctions and traveling with her sister-in-law Judy McRorie.

Martha was a member of Grace Baptist Church, of Indian Trail, and devoted a lot of her time to the Lord every Sunday morning.

Survivors include her husband
Bill Couick, whom she was married to for 58 years;

as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would also like to recognize and give special thanks to Cathy Stogner, Marthas first cousin, for the excellent care and love shown over the last few weeks to our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations to the Kidney Cancer Association (KCA) or Hospice of Union County.
