Norman Fairfield, 86, of Frankfort, IN, passed away on October 24, 2022 in his daughter's home. He was born on July 27, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to Jessie and Mary (Strong) Fairfield. Norman married Rosemarie Utterback on January 19, 1957 and she preceded him in death on December 25, 2000. He then married Janet Sue Brant on January 17, 2003 and she preceded him in death on November 6, 2017.

Norman attended Thorntown Schools and worked for National Homes in Lafayette for 30 years and worked in maintenance at Columbian Park in Lafayette for 3 years. He attended Harmony Christian Church in Elwood, IN. Norman was a great mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, "puttering around" and fishing.

He is survived by four children; five siblings; 15 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; wives; two brothers, David Fairfield and Marion Fairfield; and two sisters, Helen Smith and Anna Fairfield.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort, IN. Pastor Mitch Fairfield will officiate. Entombment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Lafayette, IN. Friends may visit from 12:30 PM until the time of service at 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
