Marion Fairfield, Sr., 81, of Lebanon, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 14, 1937, to Jesse W. and Mary F. (Strong) Fairfield.
He married Nancy Jean (Cox) Fairfield on October 17, 1959 in Lebanon, Indiana. She survives and they shared 59 wonderful years together. In 1956 he had married Irene Allen and they divorced.
Survivors include Wife: Nancy Fairfield of Lebanon, Indiana, Two Daughters: Holly Christine (Raymond) Bontrager of Kokomo, Indiana, Julie Kay (Dennis) Bailey of Indianapolis, Indiana, One Son: Marion Charles Fairfield, Jr. of Lebanon, Indiana, Eight Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are Siblings: Norman Fairfield of Frankfort, Indiana, Bill (Doris) Fairfield of Bainbridge, Indiana, Raymond (Penny) Fairfield of Wolverine, Michigan, Louise Hudson of La Porte, Indiana, Paul (Beth) Fairfield of Lebanon, Anna Flake of Lebanon, and Jessie (Andi) Fairfield of Lebanon.
In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by Daughters: Peggy Ann Fink, Angela Lynn Fairfield, Janet Fairfield, Brother, David Fairfield, and Sister, Helen Smith.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his arrangements.
