Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Stevens - 72, of Lexington, North Carolina, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, April 14th, 2022. He was born September 6th, 1949, in Buchanan County, Virginia, to the late Reverend Glen William Stevens and Annie Elizabeth (Cook) Stevens. Kenny was a retired roofer of over 40 years and attended church at Wayside Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church in Thomasville. He loved spending time with his family and his dog Thumper. In addition to both parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his brothers Glen William Stevens Jr. " Junior" and Ernest Lee "Slim" Stevens; sister Mickey Virginia Agnes Hill; and grandsons Devon Soles and Zakary "Zakie" Edwards. Kenny leaves behind two ex-wives, Bennie Sue (Drinnon) Stevens and Mary Louise (Fry) Stevens; brother Winfred (Jewell) Stevens; sisters Roxie Drinnon and Anna Drinnon; son Kenneth (Tammy) Stevens; daughters Donna (Joey) Harmon; Malissa (Beecher) Barton; Angela (Tony) Soles; Kim (Donnie) Bowman; Karen (Rob) Ratliff; Sarah (Adam) Hulin; and Amanda (Brian) Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
