Evelyn A. Edwards, age 90 of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Burnsville, NC, Evelyn is a daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Allen.
She was a member of West Park Street Baptist Church. She loved her flowers, quilting, singing and attending church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Vestil Carroll Edwards; one son, Joseph Larry Edwards; sisters: Margie Burleson, Louise Arrowood, Alice Allen, Jewel Ledford and Bernice Davis; and brothers: Braskie Allen, Dallas Allen and Roy Allen.
Evelyn A. Edwards has left behind to cherish her memory: daughters: Freda Tipton (Herman), Shirley Cecil (Johnny) and Anita Alabed; sister, Ellen Banks; daughter-in-law, Bobbi Edwards; grandchildren: Dean Edwards, Brian Edwards (Shannon), Revonda Tipton, Michelle Hummer (Shane), Kimberly Hall (Michael), Chris Willis, Jamie Lewis, Summer Fraley and Misty Alabed; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-grandchildren.
