Elizabeth "Betty" Rose Schmidt, 85, of Iowa and formerly of Terre Haute, died Friday, May 30, 2008. She was born May 15, 1923, in Terre Haute, to John and Madeline Creedon.
Survivors include her son, Steve Schmidt; and two grandsons, Casey and Ryan Schmidt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Schmidt, who died April 27, 2007.
She was a graduate of Wiley High School and had formerly attended St. Ann Catholic Church.
