Shannon, A. Fern, 98, homemaker, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001. Visitation 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; service 2 p.m. Friday, all at Webb Mortuary.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, James and Phyllis Shannon of Clearwater; daughter, Mary Ann Hodge of Clearwater; grandchildren, Ronnie Shannon of Burlington, Dale Hodge, Douglas Hodge both of Clearwater, Tami Hedges of Kingswood, Texas; great-grandchildren, Bryan Hodge of Clearwater, Ryan Hedges, Jannelle Hedges both of Kingswood, Texas. Memorial established with Clearwater Volunteer Ambulance Service.

Announcement is made of the marriage, of Miss Alice Ferne Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Adams of Viola, Kan., to Mr. Guy E. Shannon, which took place
Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock at the home of the bride. Rev. Milford performed the wedding service, using the ring ceremony. A buffet lunch followed. The bride was attractive in gray, Canton crepe and .wore a corsage of pink roses. The guests at the wedding included the parents of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Shannon of Bainville, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shannon, Misses Blanche Williams and Eula Adams, of Wichita, Mrs. Elmer Holland of Arkansas City and the parents of the bride, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Adams and son Olen of Viola.
