Shirley E. "Pat" Worst passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mabel Worst and his brothers, Roy and Elbert.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gloria (Gould); his children, Patricia (Doug) Adamson of Birmingham, AL, Pamela (Herm) Perez of Hudsonville, William L. (Donna) Worst of Hudsonville, James J. Worst of Grand Rapids and Anne (Brian Holcomb) England of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren; his brothers, William Worst, Jr. of Dighton, MI, C. James (Betty) Worst of Grand Rapids; his sisters, Jeanne Zylstra and Donna Rogalski of Grand Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pinnacle Center, 3330 Highland Dr. in Hudsonville on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Father John L. English, officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice whose staff provided such compassionate care during Pat's illness.
