Funeral services for Mrs. Edith E. Barker, 47, wife of Walter M. Barker, Eden Valley Orchards, Coleman Creek road, will be held Friday at two p.m. in the Chapel of the Rocks and Roses, with the Rev. Meredith A. Groves of the Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial park.
Mrs. Barker was born in Nebraska on June 21, 1901 and has made her home in Medford for the past eight years, where she passed away at a local hospital Sunday. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors, besides her husband, include her children, Robert M., Gold Hill; Mrs. Louise C. Bordeaux, Wilmington, N.C.; Darrell W., Portland; Betty D., Grants Pass; and Leroy L., Leo F., Floramay, Wallace Lee, Caroline G., and Pauline, all of Medford; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lane Adams, North Platte, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Lee Coen, Gandy, Neb.; Mrs. Ray Ricketts, Arnold, Neb.; Mrs. E. W. McClintic, Chicago, Ill.; and four brothers, Gordon Adams, Seattle; Donald Adams, Huntington Park, Calif.; Richard Adams, Broken Bow, Neb.; and Marshall Adams, North Platte, Neb.
Pallbearers will be Lee Hedgepeth, Oliver Eldridge, Kenneth Jacks, L. I. Iverson, Vern Tucker and John Stevie.
Those wishing to do so may call at the funeral chapel before the service on Friday.
