Norma Jane Benbrook, age 91, of McLeansboro, passed away 2:30 a.m., Saturday April 9, 2022 at the Hamilton Memorial Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Norma was born October 9, 1930 in Lost Springs, Kansas to Spencer and Eunice (Hacker) Bevan. She married Clifford Denzil (Strawberry) Benbrook August 22, 1950 and he survives.

Norma was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Her home was a hub where family and neighbors gathered and shared stories over coffee and home-cooked meals. She enjoyed sports whether it was watching her family or the Cardinals and Chiefs on TV. She herself was a talented softball player and bowler. She loved having all the kids home for holidays and having a large family meal. Norma was protestant by faith

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, son Spencer, sister Edna Cross (husband Bud), brother Lee Bevan (wife Ginger) and sister-in-law Karen Bevan.

Burial will be in Digby Cemetery, Dale, IL.
