KIRBYVILLE, Mo. - Floyd M. Blackwell, 80, Kirbyville, a former Klamath Falls resident, died in his Kirbyville home following a long illness Nov. 22. Mr. Kirby worked for several years in the Klamath Falls timber industry and farmed in the Kirbyville area. Survivors include his wife Erma, Kirbyville; sons, Douglas, Darrell and Danny, all Klamath Falls, and Dwight, Amarillo, Texas; daughters, Iris Hollenbeak, Klamath Falls, Carol Beaman, Salem, Mo., and Margaret Pedroza, Silver City, N.M.; step-son, Bob Rowland, Branson, Mo., and Charles Rowland, Lead Hill, Ark.; step-daughters, Beatrice Gebhart, Las Vegas, Nev., Helen Dimetroff, Hollister, Mo., and Betty Russell, Taneyville, Mo.; sister, Mary Richards, Pryor, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchldren; 23 step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice in 1973, and an infant son, Donald. Services were held in Kirbyville. Interment was in Edwards Cemetery in Kirbyville.
