Clarence graduated from L.S. Ingraham High and Industrial School on May 25, 1945. Clarence enlisted in the United States Air Force on May 26, 1945, where he served 30 years retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant on 1-31-75, Norton AFB. Following his military service, Clarence continued his career with California crop dusting services, Piper Aircraft Corp, retiring once again from Martin Marietta Aerospace in Feb 1995.
Clarence married Ethel J. Neal this union lasted 44 years and bore 4 children. Clarence Clark III (Sylvia) of Sacramento, Ca. Frank B. Clark (Lita) of Loganville, Ga. Mercedes Clark of Philadelphia, Pa. and Juanita Clark-Bankhead of Lake View Terrace, Ca. Clarence married Lillian J. Street and created a blended family, Joann Street of Lompoc, Ca. and Marvin Street of La Quinta, Ca. Seven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren
Clarence spent time giving back to his community by participating in Victory Harvest Church of God in Christ food Ministry. Clarence was a faithful Sunday School Teacher, his famous question "have you studied your lesson? He was adored by many and will be truly missed.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, April 13th from 4-7 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. His Funeral service will be on Thursday, April 14th at 11 am at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, graveside service to follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will follow immediately after the graveside at Event's Mission Valley, 138 North B St., Lompoc, California.
