Dixie D. Williams, 81, life long resident of Marion passed away on April 1, 2022. She was born in Marion, Indiana on Oct. 21, 1940 to the late Orville and Helen (Whistler) Vice.

Dixie married Paul E. Williams on Nov. 21, 1959 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 2020. Her devotion and dedication to her family made her a natural homemaker where she exhibited warmth, compassion, love and patience. She enjoyed yard work, any outdoor activity, card games and dominoes but especially loved her flower garden. Dixie had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sharing jokes and laughs with all her family and friends.

Dixie is survived by her daughter Teresa L. (David) Sheward of Marion, grandsons, David (Brandi) Sheward and Jason (Karma) Sheward; great-grandchildren, Austin, Kyle, Avery, Keiand, Lathan and Jase; dear friend Soni (Jerry) Bramblett and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Sue Bishop,Kayla Vice and brother, Dillard Bullock.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel 2722 South Washington Street, Marion., with Pastor Jeremy Snodgrass officiating.
