Margaret Keo Hutchcroft was born on April 12, 1925 in Burlington, Iowa. She was the daughter of Laura Jones Hutchcroft and Charles Hutchcroft. Peggy graduated from Mediapolis High School and attended the University of Iowa for two years. She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Peggy was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was involved in the Women's Circle and served as an Elder. She was a member of TTT, Kings Daughters and Eastern Star.
On June 18, 1944, Peggy married Aubrey Daedlow in Muscatine, Iowa. Peggy and Aub had three children, Dennis, Dianne and Alan.
Peggy worked at Mediapolis Savings Bank, Golden Savings and Loan in Golden, Colorado, and was co-owner of Golden Hours Motel in Golden; Winegard; First National Bank, Burlington, Iowa; and was co-owner of Baskin-Robbins in Burlington, Iowa. Peggy enjoyed reading, playing cards and loved animals.
Peggy is survived by her son, Alan (Kathy), daughter in law, Mary (Dennis), grandchildren Darren Daedlow, Marianne Briggs, Megan Melcher, Leah Appell-Waterman, Michelle Zear, Ryan Daedlow and Nathan Daedlow, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey; son, Dennis; daughter, Dianne; her parents, two sisters, Thelma DeSpain and Jean Heiens; and one brother, Charles Hutchcroft.
