GIBSON, WALTER A., 76, of 2517 48th Ave. N, St. Petersburg, died Sunday (Feb. 21, 1988) at Edward White Hospital, St. Petersburg. He came here in 1948 from Grove City, Pa.

A retired carpenter, he was a member of Carpenters Union Local 140. He also was a member of Nitram Lodge 188 F&AM, the Tampa Consistory, the Selama Grotto, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the International Flying Farmers.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; a son, John, Fort Myers; two sisters, Esther Perdue, Volant, Pa., and Martha Rhoades, Emlenton, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
