Clara Mae May, 85, of Hughesville and formerly of Muncy, passed away, Monday, March 28, 2022 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

Born November 15, 1936, in Turbotville, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Hans) Leech.

Clara earlier in life worked at GTE Sylvania in Montoursville for over 12 years, she then retired from Woolworth's at the Lycoming Mall.

She loved playing Bingo. Clara was an avid sports fan especially watching the New York Yankees, but overall enjoyed watching all sports.

She is survived by her son: Bryon L. May and his husband Brent Hurley, of State College; two daughters: Robin Benyo and her husband Stephen, of Hughesville, and Amy Hutchinson and her companion Tim Ranck, of Millville; three grandchildren: Eric (Ranisha) Benyo, Curt Benyo, and Meghan Green; two great-grandchildren: Logan Benyo and Willow Green; three brothers: Boyd Leech, Roy Leech, both of WV, and John Leech, of Hughesville; and two sisters: Ruth Ann Schreck, of Hughesville, and Joyce Fetzer, of Muncy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers: Frank, Harold Jr., and Oscar Leech; and one sister: Mary Ellen Buck.

Memorial services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Presbyterian Cemetery, McEwensville.
