Graveside service will be 2 pm Tuesday April 5, 2022 at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday prior to service.
Born November 12, 1944 to Elmer Adams and Mildred (Wilson) he lived in Spurger for the past 35 years. He served in the Army during Vietnam. He received 3 purple hearts, 4 1/2 years US Army Screaming Eagles, 101st Airborne Brigade 1963, and was Fireman for Beaumont Fire Department from 1967-1975. He later worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his children, Bubba Mean and Amanda, Lonnie Adams, Steven Mean and Crystal, Chuck Adams; sisters, Shirley Fondren, Earnestine Turpin; grandchildren, Bryttne, Austin, Colby, Colton, Chris, Kelsie, Capri, Rainey, Little Chuck, Lane, Fenton; great grandchildren, Kambree, Amelia, Ava, Liam.
