Nancy Lee Wears, age 75, of Mount Vernon passed away Tuesday, December 01, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on August 14, 1940 in Mount Vernon to the late John and Naomi (Mowery) Baugher.
Nancy was a 1958 graduate of the former Howard High School. She was a clerk for Foster's Pharmacy for over 30 years. Nancy enjoyed camping and wintering in Florida. Her greatest moments were the memories she made with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Jim whom she married on November 24, 1962; children, James T. Wears of Manassas, VA and Pam Wears of Mount Vernon; step children, James Wears Jr. of Pace, FL and Michael Wears of Stanford, ME; grandchildren, Justin T. Wears of Manassas, VA, Sean (Ashley) Sivits of Mount Vernon and Nicole L. McDonald of Mount Vernon; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Zoey, Macie and Lillie; step grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Jordan and Mandy; step great granddaughter, Emily Grace; sisters, Bev (Gene) Evans of Mount Vernon and Shirley (Bob) Frazier of Fredericktown; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Baugher of Millwood and Joann Baugher of Fredericktown; and her canine companion, Bonita.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry and Robert Baugher.
