J. Robert Baugher, age 65, of Fredericktown-Amity Rd. Fredericktown, died at his home December 9, 2002. He was born in Brinkhaven May 15, 1937, the son of John E. and Naomi (Mowery) Baugher and had been a Knox County resident for most of his life. He Graduated from Howard High School with the class of 1955, served with the United States Marine Corps. and had been employed by General Motors Corp. in Ontario for 41 years. Mr. Baugher was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church and a member of the Fa-Ho-Cha Sunday School Class there and was a member of the Venus Lodge #152 F. & A.M. in Mansfield.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years JoAnn (Peterson) Baugher, a daughter Beth (Drew) Hughes of Fernandina Beach, Florida, son Jeff (Ruth) Baugher of Mount Vernon, His Mother of Mt. Vernon, 3 sisters Beverly (Gene) Evans of Mt. Vernon, Shirley (Bob) Frazier of Fredericktown and Nancy (Jim) Wears of Mount Vernon a brother Jerry (Mary Ellen) Baugher of Millwood, brothers and sisters-in-law Bill (Lee Ann) Peterson of Fredericktown and Bob (Arla) Peterson of Meridian, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years JoAnn (Peterson) Baugher, a daughter Beth (Drew) Hughes of Fernandina Beach, Florida, son Jeff (Ruth) Baugher of Mount Vernon, His Mother of Mt.
