Joplin, MO - Rev. Martin J. Wilson, 77, Webb City, MO, died March 17, after a long illness.

Rev. Wilson was born December 8, 1944, in Jefferson, Iowa, to George A. and Alice Jane Wilson. Both preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Deanna Kimzey (Paul), Plymouth, MN.

Mr. Wilson graduated from Neosho High School in 1962. He married Betty J. Arnall on September 18, 1964 in Joplin, MO. Betty died April 12, 2008. He was also preceded in death by a son, Adam C. Wilson.

He was ordained in 1978 and worked for Every Home for Christ (EHC) from 1977 to 2005. He was named Ambassador Emeritus for EHC in 2015.

Martin is survived by a son, Anthony Wilson (Linda), Rochester, MN; a daughter, Julie Fisher (Derrick), Webb City, MO; seven grandchildren, Kyler Martin Wilson (Molly), Belton, MO, Jordyn Witte (Kenny), Pueblo, CO, Ashley Gilmet, Neosho, MO, Alex Fisher, Webb City, MO, Nicole Samb (Steve), Minneapolis, MN, Natalie Wertish (Jared), Rochester, MN, Kolin Hall (Cristianna), Miami, OK; and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary.
