Grant Griffin, 68, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his residence.

Graveside services were held 11 AM, Friday, March 25, 2022, at Spring Hill Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the cemetery.

Mr. Griffin was born February 26, 1954, in Tifton, Georgia, to the late Wycliffe & Ann Grantham Griffin. He graduated from Irwin County High School in 1973 and attended ABAC. Mr. Griffin began farming on his grandfather, Vinson Grantham's farm, and has farmed and ranched for over 48 years. He was a longtime director of Irwin EMC and was currently serving as Vice-Chairman. Mr. Griffin loved to hunt and fish. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a member of Ocilla Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Regina Harper Griffin of Ocilla; children: Mason & Ashley Griffin, Austin & Mallory Griffin, all of Ocilla, Misty & Ryan Guidry of Hoover, Alabama; grandchildren: Ridley Griffin and Branch Griffin; a brother, Eric & Kelly Griffin of Atlanta; a sister, Donna Griffin of Edwards, Colorado and a nephew, Nate Griffin. He also leaves behind his dog, Abby.
