Graveside services were conducted Thursday morning (today) at Koontz Cemetery here, with Bro Carrell Kakar officiating. There was no visitation. The Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born in Wayne County March 11, 1913, the daughter of John Sherman and Emma Ferris Fitch.
Mrs. Porter was a member of the Lebanon North Cumberland Presbyterian Church for many years.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. James (Rosemary) Cox of Fairfield; one sister, Isabelle Berg Turner of Claremore, Okla.; four nieces and four nephews, most living in northern Indiana.
One brother preceded her in death.
