Mary Ophilia Cunningham Kiemsteadt, 66, of Dallas, a native of Decatur, died Saturday in a Dallas hospital, following a four-year bout with cancer.
Graveside service was Tuesday at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
Mrs. Kiemsteadt, born Feb. 24, 1921, was the daughter of the late James Burl and Mary E. (Wallace) Cunningham. Her grandfather, John H. Wallace, was a Wise County Commissioner and is responsible for choosing the granite used in the construction of the Courthouse.
Survivors include her husband, L.W. Kiemsteadt; sons, Bob Matzinger of Spokane, Wash. and Marvin Matzinger of Oklahoma City, Okla.; daughters, Freda Locke of Corsicana and Betty Harris of Richardson; brother, J. B. Cunningham of Seattle, Wash.; and six grandchildren.
