Rosalee Armstrong Floyd passed from this life on March 12, 2022. She was born in Longview, Texas on September 28, 1935 to Connie Clifton and Nora Cornelius Armstrong. She was 86. Rosalee graduated from Longview High School, and in July 1956 married the love of her life, James Robert Floyd. Rosalee was a wife, mother, and friend. She was active in Women's Club and Garden Club and served on the Community Healthcore Board for about 15 years, but her most cherished job was being a housewife, making a loving home for her family. Farming was a way of life for the Floyds, and Rosalee prided herself on having dinner on the table at "dark-thirty" when Robert and the kids came in from the field. If Rosalee was known for one thing, it was her cooking. She was always ready to prepare a meal for a friend in need, or to delivery one of her hot-out-of-the-oven pound cakes to anyone who needed a little love and cheering up. Her family called it her 'Pound Cake Ministry'.

Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son, James William (Jim) Floyd.

She is survived by son Clif Floyd and wife Robbie of White Oak, daughter Lee Floyd of Kilgore, grandson Kenny Floyd and wife Jenn of Kilgore, granddaughter Bliss Charmchizadeh and husband Jeremy of Houston, and great grandsons Austin, Landen and Rhoen of Kilgore.

Memorials may be made to Hearts Way Hospice P.O. Box 5608, Longview, Texas 75608.
