James "Robert" Floyd was married to Rosalee for 58 years. Together they had 3 children listed below.

They lived in Kilgore, Tx. and were members of the First Christian Church where Robert served as an elder. He was involved in the Gregg Co. Farm Bureau, the Oil Belt Farm, the Ranch Club, the Rusk Co. Child Welfare Board, and the Friends of Kilgore Public Library.

Robert died of cancer at his home in Kilgore, Tx.-Rusk Co. on Aug. 17, 2014.
