Ada (Coggins) Black, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, December 15, 2007, at Magnolia Place of Spartanburg.

Born November 28, 1922, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ellis H. Coggins and Callie (Easler) Coggins, and the wife of Thomas Orlando Black.

Mrs. Black retired from Raycord Corporation and was a member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sisters, Aileene C. Black of Spartanburg, and Agnes Masters of Greenville; one niece, Linda Bean of Greenville; one nephew, Don Masters of Greenville; and her aunt, Irene Jackson of Spartanburg.

Graveside Services were held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2007, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, with Rev. David Sutton officiating.

The family received friends at the graveside following the service.

Memorials could be made to Magnolia Place Activities Fund, 8020 White Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303; Samaritan Care Hospice, 500 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or to Nazareth Presbyterian Church, 680 Nazareth Church Road, Moore, SC 29369.
