On July 28, 1944, Kay was born to Charles and Lillian (Atchinson) Womack in Chicago, Illinois. She married the love of her life, James Hesh, on June 9, 1962, in Fair Oaks, Indiana. Kay worked at Northway in Rensselaer for many years. She liked to do crafts. She enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher, and playing her guitar.
Kay is survived by her family: children: Karen (William) Struble, Catherine DeVries, John (Debbie) Womack; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings: Danna (Gary) Hoover-Henry.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parent, and siblings, Charles Jr., Virginia Mitchell, and Robert James Womack.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Kay will take place at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Ronnie Gann officiating.
