Waynesville, Mary Deane Rogers Davis, age 86, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Roy and Ollie Mae Sprinkle Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Howell, who passed in 1972, and her second husband, William Jerry Davis; three brothers, Reeves, David, and Max Rogers, and her sister, Betty Seay.

Mary is survived by her son, Richard "Dean" Howell, and his wife, Laura, of Waynesville; two daughters, Diane Lowe and Elaine Hyatt and her husband, Danny, all of Waynesville; two sisters, Jean Walker, and her husband, Jack and Frances Williams, all of Waynesville; four grandchildren, Luke Howell (Kalei), Ethan Howell (Brittney), Rachel Brown (Dan), and Brent Lowe (Sierra); and four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Sylas, and Norah.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Zach Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
