Mrs. Elpha Brooks, Green Bay, mother of R. P. Brooks, manager of the Neenah office of the Wisconsin Telephone company, died in Green Bay Thursday afternoon following an illness of three months
A resident of Wisconsin all her life. Mrs. Brooks would have celebrated her 88th birthday today. She was b6rn Aug. 26. 1861 in Janesville and was living with Mrs. W. J. McCormick. Green Bay. one of her daughters, at the time of her death.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by one son. R. P. Brooks; two daughters Mrs McCormick and Mrs J. C. Messenger, Alton. Ill.: eight grandchildren and two great - grandchildren
Funeral services will be held in Green Bay Saturday morning and burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Appleton.
