Carl Prentis Jenkins, 89, of Newton passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Carolina Caring in Newton surrounded by his family.
He was born September 26, 1932 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Noah and Gertrude Hensley Jenkins. Carl was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Newton and retired as owner and operator of Jenkins Printing Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Campbell Jenkins; daughter, Madelon Bush; brothers, Brintz Jenkins and Harold Jenkins.
