Catherine Amant, 73, of L. Macungie Twp., died March 2, 2022, surrounded by the warmth of her husband and family at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She and her husband, Joseph, celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. Raised in Jim Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late John and Gwen (Hill) Gillespie and was a 1966 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. Prior to retiring, Cathy was a realtor and taught realty for several years and was president of Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors in 2010. She was of the Catholic faith, a loving mother and grandmother and devoted her life to her family.
Survivors: husband; sons, William (Kristen), Michael (Natasha), Brian (Danika); grandsons, Tristan, Coty, Tyler, Connor, Braylen; brothers, Gerald, Steven, Michael; sister, Jean Hinton. Brothers, Rich and John, preceded her in death.
Services: There will be a visitation 11:30 AM – 1 PM Saturday at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown. Service and interment in Resurrection Cemetery will be private.
