HANSEN - Mrs. Walter (Anna M.) Hansen, 81, Rt. 2, Columbus, died Sunday a t Genoa after a six-month illness.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKown Funeral Chapel and Roselawn Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. D. Lee Grace officiating. Her body lies in state at the funeral chapel.
Daughter of the late Hans C. and Bodil Matson Hansen, she was born Nov. 20, 1891 in Audubon County Iowa, where she married Walter P. Hansen on Nov. 2, 1911. They lived at Osceola and Silver Creek before moving here 52 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aug. 2, 1970; son, Russell, Nov. 30, 1970; two daughters; one sister and one brother.
Surviving are three sons, Chester V. of Genoa, LeRoy W of Lincoln, Palmer V. of San Pablo, Calf.; seven grandchildren; four brothers and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Nelson, Mrs. Ida Peterson and Nels B. Hansen of Exira, Iowa Mrs. Lillie Nelson and Ted Hansen of Audubon, Iowa, Palmer Hansen of Hamilton, Iowa, Mrs. Henry Clemsen and Charles Hansen of Atlantic. Iowa.
Pallbearers will be Gene, Mark and Mike Hansen. Dan Schroeder, Bob and Richard Nelson.
