Mrs. Fred J. Rump Dies
Versailles, Kentucky; January 8, 1948
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Leo's Catholic church for Mrs. Agnes Lee Rump, 67, wife of Fred J. Rump, veteran Versailles brick contractor. Mrs. Rump died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodford Memorial hospital after a 24-hour illness. She had been in ill health for several years, but spent Monday in Lexington with her husband.
A Daughter of the late Christopher and America Glass Lee, Mrs. Rump was born at White Sulpher in Scott county September 6, 1880. She had resided in Versailles since her marriage more than 40 years ago. She was a member of the St. Leo church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lewis Bramlette, Georgetown; a niece, Mrs. Noah T. Thomas, Georgetown,, and three nephews, Frances Bramlette and John Lee, Jr., Georgetown, and William Lee Parish, Cynthiana.
The Rev. Leo Wilson, pastor of St. Leo's will conduct the services. Burial will take place at White Sulphur. Pallbearers will include Dr. N. E. Berry, Joe Barber, Dawson Allen, Charles M. Spillman, Roy Krabill, and Frederick Jackson.
