KINGSLAND - Imogene Blasdell-Bynum, formerly of San Angelo, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 12th surrounded by her family and loving staff at Windchime Assisted Living in Kingsland, Texas.

Imogene was born April 8, 1920 to T. E. and Maude McCoy Donaldson in McCulloch County Texas where she attended Calf Creek and Brady schools.

She was a wonderful mother and devoted friend to many. She was the longest tenured member of Lake View Baptist Church prior to its closing. She loved dancing, playing 42 dominoes with friends and spending time with family.

Imogene was married to Raymond Blasdell for 30 years and was blessed with three children. Following Raymond's death in 1967 she married Jack Bynum in 1981 and they shared 24 years together.

Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Raymond and second husband Jack, daughter Bonnie Blasdell Hale, sisters Alma and Frances, brothers Thomas and Sandy Donaldson and grandson John Cheatham.

She is survived by her daughter Fayla Cheatham of Brady, son Mike Blasdell and wife Teena of Kingsland, granddaughter Terri Duncan and husband Robert of Horseshoe Bay as well as stepdaughter Jean Rollo and stepsons Joe and Johnny Bynum, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

Flowers can be sent to Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo or donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.

Graveside services will be held in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo Thursday, February 17th at 2:00 P.M. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.johnsons-funeralhome.com for the Bynum family.
