A native of Madison County and resident most of her life in Buncombe County where she was a member of Riverview UMC.
She was a daughter of the late Grover Carl Norton and Elizabeth Smith Norton Rucker and wife of Carl Everett "Ham" Pike who died July 31, 2003. Mrs. Pike was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean Smith and longtime companion, Chester Jump.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna Pike Tipton (Bob Johnson); son, Tony Everett Pike (Irene); 2 grandchildren, Rachael Ann Tipton (James Cichetti, Jr.) and Bethann Greene; step grandchildren, Jeff, Julie and Michael Tipton (Lisa) and step great granddaughter, Chloe Tipton; brothers, Benny Norton (Sharon)and Leroy Norton (Ines); bother in law, Hubert Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Enoch Ball, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
