Nutfield; a history of that part of New Hampshire comprised within the limits of the old township of Londonderry, from its settlement in 1719 to the present time, by Willey, George Franklyn, 1869- ed:
The McDuffee farm is now owned and occupied by Albert A. Pressey. Daniel McDuffee and Ruth, his wife, lived to a good old age, and their bodies lie in the old burying ground by the First church. A large horizontal slab resting upon four pillars tells the story.
From the town records one reads:
"Hugh McDuffee, son of Daniel McDuffee and Ruth his wife, was born March 25, 1721," and "John McDuffee, son of Daniel McDuffee and Ruth his wife, was born September 14th, 1723." And thus, by sure steps the old places are restored and ix'ophd with the shades of the departed.
