Kathryn Sue (Reeser) Kershaw passed from this earth on February 9, 2022. She was born August 20, 1951 in Bloomington, IL to Walter and Helen Reeser. Kathy graduated from Moore High School in Farmer City, Illinois in 1969. She then attended Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, Illinois where she earned a bachelors in education. Upon graduation, Kathy accepted a teaching position at Boulevard Christian School in Muskogee where she soon met the love of her life, Rob Kershaw. The two were engaged just three months later, they welcomed two children within the first two years of their marriage, and were married almost 36 years.
Kathy devoted her life to serving others, mostly children. Many described her as an angel on earth. She was incredibly kind, positive, forgiving, and had the biggest heart. Words simply cannot capture the gentle soul that Kathy was; the simplest things brought her the most joy. She will be remembered for her constant smile and living out her faith well.
Kathy reunited with her one and only, Rob, at Heaven's gates but is survived by a family who will miss her dearly: her children Robert Kershaw (and wife Megan), Katie Graves (and husband Tyler), her grandchildren, Hank, Nora, Rhett, Griffin, and Millie Grace, her three siblings, Joyce, Pam, and David, and countless other nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
