Leon Louis Elliott, 83, of Dora, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2007, in Cordova. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 14, at New Horizon Memorial Gardens in Dora. Visitation will be held Monday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Ellen Elliott; his children, Mary Coggins and her husband Howard, Leon Elliott Jr., Linda Cairns, Sara Bell and her husband David, Angela Brubaker and her husband Paul, Brian Elliott and his wife Linda, and John Paul Elliott; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, A. C. Elliott and Othar Lee Elliott; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
