EVELYN McCOSAR, 74, passed away on January 12, 2022 in Riverside, California. She was born on March 29, 1947 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Charley and Maggie (Sanders) Smith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked in the healthcare field for 40 years in Administration at Chino Valley Medical Center. She was a faithful member at Harvest Christian Fellowship and loved her church and sharing Jesus with people whenever she could. She enjoyed when she was able to be an usher at the crusade. She loved to travel and loved taking care of her family.
Evelyn is survived by her children Juanita McCosar, Janet McCosar, Berlin McCosar, Lisa McCosar and Patrick McCosar; grandchildren Christopher Perez, Vicktoria Perez, Samantha Perez, Aaron McCosar, Joseph McCosar, Bear McCosar, Olivia Coker; great-grandchildren Emily Silva, Matthew Cabrales, Elijah McCosar, and Luna Perez.
She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew McCosar and her daughter Kelly McCosar.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Grimes-Akes Family's "Grace Chapel from 4-8 PM.
Graveside service will be on Thursday, February 4, 2022 at 10:15 in the morning in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
