Wiley Doyce Chapman, Jr. of Kirbyville, Texas was born July 14, 1943 in Galveston, Texas to Wiley Doyce and Marie Chapman.

He died February 7, 2022 surrounded by family at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jackie Chapman of Kirbyville, his sons Richard Chapman and Tabatha of Mascotte, Florida and Eric Chapman and Amy of Scarborough, Maine, his sister Beverly Hall and Mack of Kirbyville, his brothers Ron Chapman and Jacque of Beaumont, Don Chapman and Kathy of Magnolia, Texas, his grandsons Solomon and Rebekah Chapman of New York and Nathaniel Chapman of Maine, granddaughters Cassandra and Naomi Chapman of Maine, Sierra of Florida, Allison and Brandon of Maine, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

After serving in the Air Force, he worked for IBM for thirty years and returned to Kirbyville to finish his work career at JNEC.

Wiley was an active member of Our Lady of LaSalette and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. He was always involved in civic organizations. He was in the Lake Charles Power Squadron for many years and served in many leadership positions. After returning home, he was supportive of many local organizations.

Services are Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Kirbyville, Texas.

Visitation is from 11~12:30, rosary at 12:30 and funeral mass at 1pm.

Burial will be in the Kirbyville Cemetery ~
