He was born on October 11, 1917 in Crockett, Virginia to the late Charles and Bessie (Kincer) Jones. Mr. Jones was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and a farmer who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Louise Jones and his second wife, Maggie Jones.
Survivors include his daughter, Martha L. White and husband Ronald of Nokesville, VA; five sisters: Mabel Earhart, Edna Mae Wray, Anna Pearl Schaeffer, Geraldine Vance and Betty Wright; three brothers: Charles Jones, Frank Jones and Gerald Jones.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Valley View Cemetery in Nokesville, VA with military honors.
