Nancy Ann Levi, age 62 of Murfreesboro, died suddenly died suddenly Wednesday October 22, 2008. She was native of Davidson County and was preceded in death by her father, James O. Newman. She was an English and Spanish Teacher in Rutherford County for the past 30 years. She taught at Central Middle School, Oakland High School and McFadden Middle School. Mrs. Levi was a swimming instructor for over 40 years. Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Oakland High School Gymnasium with Steve Lykins and Lester Levi officiating. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mike Levi; daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Chavis; son, Jon Michael (Kisti) Levi; grandchildren Anna Levi Chavis, Walker Chavis, Zoe Chavis, Cannan Chavis, KaraLynne and Madison Grace Levi all of Murfreesboro mother, Gladys Newman of Donaldson; sisters, Lyn Newman and Janis (Bart) Dotson of Murfreesboro. Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Levi to any Rutherford County School Library, Linebaugh Public Library, or organization of your choice. Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge or arrangements.
